Our survey exceeded expectations — we want to thank everyone for participating. Respondents live in the US, Canada and Australia, and many chose to include comments that were insightful and valuable to BGDL as we continue to advocate and educate.
Survey requests went out to everyone on our email list. Our goal is to better understand what matters most to women with alopecia areata so that we can better help people and serve the community. Some questions invited comments and we received many — thank you very much if you shared additional thoughts. Individual responses will not be revealed as data is only being used in the aggregate.
In addition to helping BGDL develop programs and resources for women with alopecia, we will also use the aggregate results to provide feedback to businesses so they can better design products and services that meet our needs. We hope this will also attract additional appropriate sponsorship so we can expand our programming to reach and help many more women.
Additional detailed findings will follow in conjunction with outreach efforts and advocacy programs — stay tuned!
