Faren Collins Supports Bald Girls Do Lunch

Faren Brooke Collins is a native of Atlanta, Georgia who has always been involved in the arts.  Classical dance, voice and theatre have  been a huge part of her life. After attending a prestigious performing arts high school in Atlanta, she went on to attend Penn State University for Musical Theatre. Ms. Collins is a member of Actor's Equity.

Faren chose Bald Girls Do Lunch as her charity cause in the Miss New York state beauty pageant for 2010.

"Alopecia Areata is no stranger to the Collins family. My grandmother, three aunts and my father all have alopecia universalis. I'm thrilled to be a part of a cause that can better the understanding and awareness of this disease that affects not only the outward appearance but the internal feelings as well."

About Us

Bald Girls Do Lunch is the only nonprofit created specifically to help women with alopecia areata cope, gain confidence and feel a sense of community.
