For the second year in a row, BGDL is being honored with the Gold Triangle Award from the AAD**
At the Academy's annual meeting in Miami, Florida in March, 2010, we will be awarded for both the Bald Girls Do Lunch:Winning Website" and our special day: "The Beauty Event" with the Bobbi Brown make-up Artists in Larchmont, NY (winter, 2009). See photos of the event in the BGDL Photo Gallery.

*** The annual Gold Triangle Awards of the American Academy of Dermatology recognize and honor media, industry, health community organizations, public service and individual efforts that further understanding of dermatologic issues and encourage healthy behaviors in the care of the skin, hair, and nails.
Bald Girls Do Lunch is the only nonprofit created specifically to help women with alopecia areata cope, gain confidence and feel a sense of community.
